Commissioning Engineer

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Arbetsuppgifter:
Tasks: The TPE department is responsible for installation and commissioning resources at our global HVDC plants. When becoming our new Commissioning Engineer you will be offered a specialized training based on your previous experience and knowledge within commissioning. You will then work at our plants and handle the commissioning of our large projects. Depending on the character and size of each project, you will spend between three to six months on sites worldwide and work together with about ten other commissioning engineers. You will also work with documentation and handle instruments. Eventually, you will grow into a position as commissioning manager and lead the commissioning on site. This position suits you who enjoy travelling and want the opportunity to develop both in the position and within the company.


Utbildning/Erfarenhet:
Requirements: To qualify for this position, you need an Electrical Engineering degree and strong leadership skills. Experience of similar work is an advantage, but you might as well be recently graduated and have a strong interest in deepening your skills within electric power. Fluency in English is required whereas knowledge in other languages is advantageous. As you will work in teams, you need high social skills and to thrive in a role where you both can lead and collaborate with others.
