Arbetsbeskrivning
Purpose of the Job:
Cost-effective execution of Commissioning activities related deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. Provide technical support and cost estimation for related activities to the proposal team during bid preparation and to the Project Manager during project execution.
Main Accountabilities:
Planning & Scheduling:
Inputs to detailed plan for Commissioning activities based on project requirement and by coordinating with the customer and site manager. Follow time schedule of site activity in coordination with Site manager. Manage smooth commissioning of the project by coordinating between the different disciplines.
Safety Risk Assessment:
Follow Linxon praxis for safety risk assessment at the site for smooth execution of commissioning activities. Ensures your are trained on company health, safety, and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project. Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by LINXON personnel or by subcontractors) in case of OHS violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that LINXON employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.
Monitoring of Sub-contractor:
Monitoring of Substation Commissioning work progresses with sub-contractor on regular basis if any sub-contractor. Review designs and execute onsite commissioning activities and coordinate with Lead Engineer if any deviation in design identified.
Change Management:
Provides inputs to site manager for any change/increase in scope of installation or commissioning work.
Progress Reporting:
Follow and report progress on site to back office.
Guidance & Coaching:
Provide guidance & coaching to the team in achieving the deliverable & meeting the customer requirement in the testing part of the project.
Experience Required:
Experience from erection & commissioning of Transmission & Distribution AIS / GIS Substation projects in Sweden.
Customer Exposure: SvK, EoN, Ellevio, Vattenfall, MoE
Competencies/ Skills Required:

Good knowledge of processes in industrial, large and complex or turnkey contracts is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills with staff at all levels, ability to get the message across in a coherent and clear way with great confidence at its most difficult and challenging times.
Ability to take initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance whilst remaining compliant with of Linxon’s Code of Conduct.
Ability to stay calm, even if unforeseen events threaten to disrupt projects.
Fluency in Swedish/English required.
Education:
Master or Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering
