The Hoisting part of IAPI designs and delivers hoists and underground equipment to the mining industry.
The role is reporting to Engineering Manager.


Your responsibilities
Commissioning mine hoisting systems on customer mining sites in any part of the world.
Planning the commissioning works and executing according to the plan.
Verifying the delivered system is fully functioning according to customer requirements and expectations.
Conducting commissioning in a safe way, following ABB’s health and safety requirements.
Sharing your experiences of site works with the peers in the Hosting Field Operations department.
Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.



Your background
Electrical or mechanical engineer.
Experience in commissioning of system deliveries, containing both mechanical and electrical equipment.
Knowledge of Mine Hoisting is required.
High awareness and adherence of ABB’s health and safety requirements.
Experience of working close to the customer.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
