Commissioning Network and Equipment Manager

Responsibilities:
Business Travel Processes:
Reports to the CO+I Regional Commissioning Lead – EMEA
Document the setup and processes to configure the commissioning network, equipment and software used.
Publish setup and training material for commissioning agents on how to properly configure and operate the test equipment and software.
Plan and roll out new network devices, configurations, and software updates globally
Establish metrics for test equipment utilization and test readiness
Work with legal and local business teams to create new orders
Travel required up to 40% of the role.

Communications:
Send project updates related to new equipment and program level changes
Send notifications to the team related to setup, configuration, and software changes.
Track all equipment and maintenance budgets and review with leadership
Provide annual forecast for expected equipment and maintenance spend.
Leverage data to project equipment demand and justify new equipment needs.
Participate in weekly calls providing updates on test equipment readiness

Accountability:
Establish process for tracking and maintaining the global test equipment used by the Commission teams.
Ensure that the test equipment required for FPT and IST is configured and ready as per the construction schedule.
Own the demand forecast for test equipment to ensure that all sites will enough equipment to perform the required testing.
Provide the first line of troubleshooting of the Cx network and software.
Own the configuration for the mobile test stations used by the Commissioning Team and ensure stations are standardized worldwide.
Work with central teams in Redmond such as Networking and Security to ensure that Cx Network topologies and designs are aligned with global policies
Work independently in support of the CO+I Program.

Strategy and Development:
Propose and deliver new methods or tooling for managing the global fleet of equipment that help reduce the setup time, operating and maintenance costs.
Contribute to the team's objectives and key results

Vendor Management and contract compliance:
Coordinate with suppliers and commissioning team on maintenance projects and new equipment orders
Provide insights and feedback related to vendor performance and reviews
Preparation of RFP's, PER's, and other project approval tools & templates

Skills & Qualifications:
Construction QA/QC and/or Project Management
Networking skills. Ability setup, configure and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks
English Language skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, MS Project



Experience required:
5 years' experience in Data Center facility maintenance, operations and/or commissioning
Degree required - Associate in Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience
Knowledge of Networking, Electrical and Mechanical Test Equipment

Preferred, not required:
OSHA 10 or Higher qualification
NFPA 70E
IT Network qualification
