Commodity Buyer

The commodity buyer is a part of the Purchasing organization and reports to the purchasing director of the Mjällby division. Requirement profile: -Bachelor degree in mechanics or economics -Minimum 2 years experience from strategic purchasing, preferably from the automotive sector.-Skilled in negotiations and purchasing tools -Experience from plastic and rubber components is preferred -Swedish and English language at professional level in speech and writing -Experience from working in a project organization environment Main responsibilities: -Manage and develop the supplier panel for her/his commodity -Build and execute the strategy for her/his commodity -Continuously reduce purchasing costs (total cost of ownership) for her/his commodity -Negotiate and settle contracts (long term & short term) with above mentioned suppliers -Release requisitions and orders for tools, PPAP?s, prototypes, etc and manage the purchased part information/data in the MRP system -Some coordination with our Linköping and Jamestown/US division in the relevant commodities -Make sure to follow ISO/TS standards and internal TiSiX roadmaps for the supplier panel.-Support to Logistic and Supplier Quality assurance teams TitanX offer attractive job positions and our ambition is to be free from any kind of discrimination and to give the same opportunities to all employees.For application, please visit our home page www.titanx.com.
