Department
KA Purchasing organization is responsible for direct and indirect material throughout KA globally. We are a centralized function, supporting our R&D and production organizations within the Business areas. Indirect Material & Services (IDMS) is responsible for non-production materials and services for all our staff and plants.

Job profile
Actively participates in the strategic sourcing activities for one or more commodities of spend, with the goal of achieving significant cost reductions, while maintaining/improving product quality and supplier service levels
Works closely with key stakeholders in BA organizations and in corporate functions to develop commodity strategies and implementation plans. Lead purchasing activities cross Plants, BA:s and Regions to optimize the spend.

Responsibilities
. Capture real savings
. Supplier selection and negotiation process
. Monitors performances of suppliers and the compliance with guidelines
. Directly solve operational issues with suppliers
. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the commodities
. Track performance within each spend commodity and define budgetary impact
. Monitor strategy implementation and contract compliance
. Drive best practices
. Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws
. Supplier relationship management
. Define supplier selection criteria for commodity group to meet the project requirements.
. Maintain supplier/commodity and contractual computer records as needed
. Ensure suppliers comply and adhere to commercial agreements and terms of purchase
. Establish a base of preferred suppliers
. Improve service levels
. Establish good contracting and acceptance practices.
. Support other purchasing or corporate related activities when needed

. Meet the customers' ever increasing demands and expectations for high service level and flexibility combined
with reduced cost.
. Demonstrate the positive effects of consolidated control of indirect commodities and win the confidence of
internal stakeholders



Candidate profile

Professional
. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering and/or Business Management
. Successful, multi-year track record in Purchasing of transportation


Technical
. Experience from Logistics / Supply Chain Management
. Strong negotiation skills
. Good planning/project management skills
. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
. Strategic
. Change Management
