Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Scania Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all of Scania units worldwide. The current group manager will leave her position and hence we are seeking a successor.

Then you are our next Commodity Group Manager! You will be part of the group Commodity Purchasing Exterior within the department Cab & Electronics.

Main mission
As a Manager you will be directly responsible to lead a team of 8-9 dedicated and highly skilled and motivated co-workers with the main tasks to secure suppliers capacity, negotiating the right cost level and meeting the demand. The responsibility also include maintaining the supplier relations, enabling the sourcing strategies and as well as coordination and development of activities within the Traton group, where you will support them to succeed.
You will work in cooperation with Scania’s development department, production units and purchasing quality departments as well as other purchasing teams within Scania and Traton group. You will be a part of the Management team of Commodity.

A previous experience from Management and Purchasing with global supply chains is of course an important advantage.

I am 46 years old with long experience in purchasing. I am highly motivated to create a dynamic and cooperative environment where our management well as our department will make diversity inclusion the best of our advantage. I believe a diverse skill set in our organization in combination with high level of engagement and cooperation will make our job both fun and inspiring.
