Commodity Manager Engines & Transmissions
Scope:
Combustion engines for wheeled products
Transmissions/ gearboxes/ gears for wheeled products
Drive line (motor / motor controller / gears / transaxles) for electric drive wheeled products

Basic job description:
Ensure on time deliveries of components
Support various Husqvarna sites in dialogue with suppliers and any related activities (deliveries / quality issues / capacity planning etc.)
Work to provide possible terms, conditions and prices related to purchase of material and components
Take part in negotiations
Prepare and be in charge of finalizing agreements
Keep up to date with the market in order to support Husqvarna with latest and most suitable short and long term solutions taking into account input from R&D and PM teams
Initiate and support cost-out activities in collaboration with Husqvarna team and suppliers
Support project teams during the development of new products and product refreshes
Be on the lookout for new technologies and potential new suppliers based on requests from R&D and PMs
Continuously improve processes

Candidate requirements:
Willingness to move to one of our offices: Mielec (Poland) or Huskvarna (Sweden)
Bachelor’s degree, technical one would be the most suitable and a minimum of five years of related work experience (references will be welcome)
Advanced knowledge of English in speech and writing
High negotiation skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Good communication skills
Positive attitude and personality
Team player
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Readiness to travel
