Commodity Manager - Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager
Functional Title: Commodity Manager - Cabs Volvo Construction Equipment
Reports to: P&SM Director, Volvo Construction Equipment Cabs, AB
P&SM Director - Asia, Volvo Construction Equipment China (Ltd)
Location: Shanghai - China

Purpose of the position:
Manage sourcing team to execute the strategic sourcing processes for a specific commodity, obtaining contracts with the most competitive terms and conditions, contributing for the company revenue with the best possible quality, cost and delivery level (QDC); meeting customer's requirement, driving rationalization of work through continuous improvement activities.

Key responsibilities:
-Manage pricing, commercial terms and delivery logistics negotiations with local and global suppliers.
-Manage supplier's quality performance and cost evolution as per sourcing strategy and company's objectives.
-Coordinate to develop total value analysis for local and global sourcing projects.
-Build supply chain for Cabs in China and improve supply chain for Cabs in Korea.
-Understand and apply Volvo's Purchasing Processes.
-Achieve financial and operational KPI's and recommend business improvements.
-Assist in planning & budgeting, provide commercial support when requested.
-Secure strong cross-functional co-operation within the Product Lines at the China plant.
-Actively support continuous improvement efforts in within the organization.
-Support the development, tracking and publishing of relevant global economic indices for Steel, Metal works and other related components for Cabs.
-All other areas of professional business development.

Experience and Qualifications:
-Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related degree.MBA degree will be a plus.
-Extensive professional, international experience.Supply Chain / Manufacturing / and Operations experience is preferred.(Minimum 5 years of experience)
-Direct experience in sourcing processes in international operations
-Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing required, with advance knowledge highly desirable.
-Direct experience or exposure in SAP will be a plus.
