To our office in Solna alternatively Finspång we are looking for a commodity manager for logistics services. Since purchasing is a central function in Siemens we support all offices in Sweden, where the majority of purchases are made to Finspång, Solna, Gothenburg and Malmö. On the other hand, we have the goal to align our activities cross-Nordics and bundle our volume above country borders.
The challenge
As a commodity manager you are responsible to develop and implement the purchase category objectives and strategy in line with our global purchasing strategy and guidelines. Also making sure that the local business specific needs are met in order to optimize the Siemens competitiveness on the market. This includes market analysis, cost control, supplier development, negotiation, and contract signing.
Your responsibility includes:
* Implement objectives and strategies for Sweden and cross-Nordics
* Supplier agreements and qualification
* Negotiate prices and conditions
* Cooperate with the purchasing colleagues in Sweden, cross-Nordics and globally
* Monitor agreements, and be responsible for negotiating or concluding the agreements on time
What is required of me?
To succeed in the role, you have at least 3 years of experience from strategic procurement within logistics services. It is also desirable with experience in sales and knowledge in purchasing law. You have a post-secondary education in purchasing and logistics or education that is considered equivalent. You are an experienced user of Office package in particular Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint and experience of SAP is a merit.
As a person you are driven, analytical, structured and have a good communications skill. To drive continuous improvement and dare to test new methods is in your nature. As we work with both Swedish and English on a daily basis, we see that you have knowledge of these languages, both in speech and in writing.
