Commodity Planner/ Buyer to a large company in Stockholm

Fleet commodity and operation management:

The position is at our clients supply chain organization for indirect material. The compaly have a high number of company cars and several leasing and service suppliers. "Fleet" is one of the most challenging commodities, therefore they need someone experienced who can support in this commodity. The responsibilities will be to further develop the strategic direction, coordinate suppliers, but also the daily operational support for our drivers.

As a commodity manager you will be focusing on identifying regional or global suppliers, markets or regions, for assigned (non-critical, moderately complex) commodities, semi-products, services portfolio, either directly or indirectly used in the client's own product portfolio.

You will also work with:

* Identifying and analysing internal customer needs
* Analysing and discussing technical specifications in cooperation with Sales Management responsible or together with technical Project Manager.
* Prepare negotiations and contracts.
* You will typically plan your own work according to targets agreed, within a quarterly up to an annual cycle, by integrating resources in a project driven environment.
* You will provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have experience in the leasing or in the fleet management business. You have the ability to integrate analysis, development, testing and implementation in your work. You interpret and functionally influence policy and guidelines in their area of business / technology and develop processes and systems to deliver functional objectives. You also have good analytical skills and are able to work with advanced Excel functions.

Other than that, you have:

* 5+ years' experience in a similar role
* Previous experience in fleet, leasing or car rentals
* Commercial and/or technical knowledge in an area of competence.
* Business fluent English and Swedish is required
