Time for a new exciting job after the winter holidays? We are looking for a Manager leading the new group of Strategic Semiconductors within the department Cab & Electronics. You will be responsible to drive and coordinate our purchasing activities within the strategic area of semiconductors.
The responsibility
The team's responsibility is to ensure both the long-term strategy and short-term supply of semiconductors. The aim and ambition are to create a situation where we can fully rely on our suppliers and supply, to be resilient to any disturbances in a longer perspective.
As a manager, you will guide and support the team to:
• Develop the overall Scania semiconductor strategy from TQDCS point of view.
• Support projects connected to strategic semiconductor management, from long-term capacity management to obsolescence management
• Improving our current sourcing process for Electronics to include the semiconductor ecosystem.
• Build and maintain relationships with semiconductor companies, distributors, and brokers
• Identifying potential business opportunities and collaboration areas with the semiconductor ecosystem.
• Build up business intelligence for semiconductors, including macro-economical factors.
• Develop the semiconductor expertise within the Scania group and their affiliated companies of the TRATON group.
• Become an interface and stakeholder to the VW and CARIAD strategic semiconductor management teams.
• Contribute to the development risk mitigation activities in our supply chain resilience.
