Communication and Marketing Manager to Pharmetheus

The role

This is a unique opportunity to drive communication and marketing activities in a global organization with a strong scientific focus. As Communication and Marketing Manager at Pharmetheus, you will lead the development and implementation of all communication and marketing strategies and activities. You will have a strong influence on how we promote our products, services, and our brand. Your overall responsibility will be developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plan, and ensuring quality of the communication both externally and internally.

Key responsibilities are:

Ownership of the development and implementation of communication and marketing strategies, routines, and processes.
Quality assurance of all external and internal communication, both analogue and digital.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across our business and organisation.
Oversee the digital and social media strategy.
Produce texts and publish via relevant channels.
Follow up and evaluate the various activities.


Pharmetheus is on a journey to expand the Communication and Marketing team and this is a new role where you will be the line manager for the team. Your team will consist of the Communication and Marketing Coordinator and the Event Coordinator that both will report to you. The workplace is in Uppsala with the possibility to work from home according to business needs.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative person with broad experience within communication and marketing. You have a strategic mindset and the strength to create momentum and move the work forward.

In addition:

Your verbal and written English is exceptional, and you know how to ensure consistent brand voice and vision.
You have good knowledge of website content management systems, and experience in online marketing and social media strategy, as well as Marketing Automation and CRM tools, is a plus.
You are used to working towards deadlines and KPIs. You have a metrics-driven marketing mind, copywriting skills, and an eye for creativity.


As the role is new and you will be developing the team’s work, you have previous experience as a manager or team leader.

If you have previous experience working in the Life Science industry or an interest in this field, is considered a merit.
