You love retail and communication! You are an experienced professional who can turn complex business topics into clear and simple communication. We are creating a new IKEA. Your role in this as a communication business partner is important: your holistic, consumer driven approach to IKEA retail contributes to growth and transformation of our business. Together, we will make IKEA one of the most loved and trusted brands in the world.


You can zoom in and out, constantly focusing on the initiatives where communication really make the difference and leads to the best business outcome. You build strong and meaningful relationships and feel confident in defining, planning, executing and following up communication - all internal and external audiences and channels considered.


You are a team player who finds energy in collaboration, a go-to person for both business owners and Group Communication colleagues. Last but not least, you embody the IKEA values and are not afraid to find your own way and test and learn in rapidly changing times.


It is highly valued, but not a must, to have experience from working in an IKEA retail country.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
In your role as Communication Business Partner for Retail Operations you will:


• As the strategic communication partner, be in the business dialogue within the retail operations area (Retail Operations Managers and the Management Teams for Market Support, Customer Fulfilment and Expansion) advising, coaching and turning business matters into communication for targeted internal and external audiences;
• Contribute to or lead communication initiatives according to the Group Communication strategy and plan, securing both the best communication and business outcome;
• Promote and encourage new ways of working within the Group functions mentioned above and the matrix organisations across the world, enabling colleagues to lead with communication.


We have two positions to fill, one permanent full-time position and one 12-month maternity cover, starting August 15, 2020.
