You are experienced in defining, planning, executing and following up on varied proactive and reactive communication initiatives, and partnering effectively with colleagues in the full range of communication disciplines, such as media relations, public affairs, and campaigning. You have a strong strategic mindset as well as the ability to draft clear and concise messages. All the while, you keep the needs of relevant stakeholders, customers, and co-workers at heart.
You enjoy working independently and thrive with a high degree of variation and reactive work, adapting to meet the needs of a constantly changing business. At the same time, you are adept at connecting the dots between a wide stakeholder network, working as a team player across a complex global business. Last but certainly not least, you embody the IKEA values and are not afraid to find your way and test and learn in changing times.
If this is you, then join us in the Communication Business Partner Team Sustainability area as Communications Business Partner. In this assignment you will have the opportunity to be strategic communication advisor for a wide range of initiatives that are part of the Ingka Group sustainability strategy, contributing to the overall IKEA People and Planet Positive strategy.
We are now searching for an additional member to the Communication Business Partner Sustainability on a permanent contract. The role is located in Malmö, Sweden.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as Communication Business Partner for Sustainability you will:
• Contribute to driving business outcomes in alignment with the Group Function business plan, by leading and delivering a range of strategic and operational communication tasks, often as part of a cross functional working group or team
• Be a trusted strategic communication advisor (and coach) to stakeholders within the Group Sustainability function - enabling business leaders to understand and act upon communication risks and opportunities
• Devise communication strategies for internal sustainability transformation initiatives, 360 integrated comms announcements, issues management
• Create and maintain core materials such as key messages, Q & As, and narratives - these are the strategic documents that enable other communicators and spokespeople to communicate in a consistent way
• Work together with internal and external production partners to create a range of communication assets
• Develop and deliver sustainability communication initiatives that are part of the “10 jobs in three years” plan, making them more accessible for a larger target audience both internally and externally
