A day in your life with us
Being the Retail Operations Communications Team, we work close to the global IKEA retail business agenda, within Ingka Group, and the leaders driving it. We secure receiver’s perspective, advise and coach business leaders to lead with communication, and we plan and produce communication assets. All to contribute to growth and positioning of IKEA, while supporting Group Functions and the Communication Teams in our 32 Ingka Group markets. To make this happen, we collaborate with our colleagues in Ingka Group Communication and the wider IKEA communications network.
We are searching for a Communication Business Partner to join the Market Support (Commercial) and New Retail Business Development part of the team. Our new colleague will be working with topics like insights, business planning, pricing, omnichannel customer experience and support, services, the IKEA food offer, market share and growth. Part of the job is to, with communication, improve the impact of business priorities and by that contribute to transformation and development, but also to secure and optimize the business. This is combined with the work of strongly improve the positioning of IKEA within the topics of retail innovation and omnichannel experience and the shift from being a home furnishing retailer to an enabler for better homes, better lives, and a better planet.
YOU ARE:
1. A communication professional with a strategic, outcome driven mindset – ready to be hands on to create clear and simple communication for all target groups.
2. Grasping complex business matters quickly and connecting the dots across a complex organization.
3. Spotting sensitive matters and newsworthiness, activating processes to reach internal and external audiences.
4. Experienced in either crisis communication, issues management or top executive advising.
5. Excellent in English, both written and oral communication skills.
6. A team player, ready to share the responsibility of the cross over communication initiatives IKEA Retail Strategy and Business Plan, key leader broadcasts etc.
