You are a senior strategic communication (or marketing) professional, ideally with a vast experience from an Ingka market, with minimum 5-7 years of both external and co-worker communication experience, public affairs, and proven advanced training in strategic communication and/or business leadership.
As a person you are performance-driven, quite adaptable, resilient, hands-on, pro-active and get the job done, while keeping the bigger picture always in mind. You have high emotional intelligence, strong leadership skills with the ability to build trustful relationships within and outside the business, securing complex stakeholder management. You demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills, curiosity and can lead and thrive in change. You inspire others and understand the complexity of Ingka and IKEA businesses and the role of communication as a strategic and integrated part of the business, in a fast-paced omnichannel environment.

Do you want to be part of designing the Communication Matrix of the future?
In this role you will be fully dedicated to lead the Communication matrix and create the strategic communication competence & development roadmap for INGKA Group, enabling high performing and forward-looking communication in our extended community – Ingka countries and Group Communication.

You will ensure that key processes and principles, and information flows, apply across global teams and country communication functions, empowering every department to lead with communication, reaching the full potential of positioning IKEA as a truly meaningful & trusted brand.
You will build a strong community, and drive a performance oriented, open and sharing climate, working cross-functionally with Ingka markets, being a role model of the IKEA values.
More specifically this means:
· Being responsible for leading all communication within and from the country communication matrix;
· Enabling the one-voice and effective information flow with an integrated view across the matrix, department and relevant functions and provide uniform support and strategic direction to the Communication function;
· Identifying different types of communication knowledge & competence that need to be in place throughout Ingka and to connect them to processes and operations;
· Create and implement the Communication Competence Development Roadmap, while aligning with Ingka P&C, Inter IKEA Group and IKEA Marketing & Communication functions;
· Supporting the development and integration of specific communication networks – PR and Social media, Co-worker communication, Transformation Communication, and Public Affairs;
· Securing global team fulfils matrix responsibilities, e.g. coaching, mentoring and developing competence across the communication matrix, performing communication and talent reviews;
· Together with P&C, and Ingka Communication MT, assuring the Communication knowledge and competence succession is mapped and continuously assessed to secure succession planning across the Ingka Group.
