Volvo Construction Equipment is looking for a Communication Manager, responsible for the internal communication and the local, external communication on the Braås site. Main tasks: Support the management business objectives of the site through timely and pro-active internal communication plans and activities Implement global communication plans, activities and objectives and cascade corporate information at local level Editor for the internal newsletter Braås Update Develop and maintain the local intranet site Provide strategic communications counsel for management Actively participate in and contribute both to Volvo CE?s global and Swedish internal communicators network and work in close cooperation with the Head of Internal Communications function at Volvo CE HQ in Brussels Marketing of the working site, Braås, in the local area In your role you will be the coordinator between the different functions on the site regarding all communication matters and also handle local external communication matters such as sponsoring and press contacts. The work is very independent and requires a driven person who makes things happen. You need to be a very good writer, preferably with experience from journalistic writing and have a feeling for layout and visualizing messages. You will report to the Site Manager and have responsibility for the communication budget. Qualifications: Proficient in Swedish and English (spoken and written) Several years of experience within the communication area Bachelor Degree within Public Relations & Communication or equivalent It is important that you have a holistic approach and an understanding of how to adapt communication activities to different business levels on the site. As a person you have good interpersonal skills, are curious, open and responsive. You need to be self-motivated, accurate and able to manage time and prioritize work load.
