The Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) unit within Volvo Car Group is responsible for all commercial activities in the EMEA markets, through our National Sales Companies, Importers and Retail Partners. The EMEA Marketing and Communication department is responsible for developing campaigns for the EMEA market as well as making sure the EMEA markets have the right digital solutions in place. We are now looking for an excellent and business-minded Communication Manager to join the EMEA Marketing and Communication team.

As Communication Manager EMEA you will be part of a team that values collaboration, result orientation and commitment. Your main area of responsibility is to create engaging communication for various types of purposes and channels such as newsletters, presentations, films and Q/As etc. You will also be responsible for coordinating PR activities and information with the central Corporate Communication team and EMEA markets.

Main responsibilities

* Create communication for the EMEA Senior Vice President and management team, internal target groups and material for the EMEA markets
* Coordinate PR within EMEA
* Produce internal EMEA news
* Plan and coordinate town hall meetings and similar events
* Create and edit content (film, articles, events, presentations, Q&A etc.)
* Publish and distribute content and manage our existing as well as set up new communication channels
* Coordination of internal communication plans within the EMEA team
* Have a close cooperation with different departments within EMEA as well as Volvo Car Group Headquarters and markets
* PR Support in campaign projects

Required qualifications

* University degree
* A few years' experience within the communication area
* Good knowledge in all areas and aspects of communication
* Project leader skills
* Excellent writing skills in English
* Experience of making interviews
* Preferably experience in producing films
* A sense for packaging content in an appealing way
