At IKEA of Sweden (Core Business Range) we are responsible to develop and supply the IKEA product range offer. This is done in the different Home Furnishing Businesses where the Sales team is responsible to secure the preconditions for the IKEA retailers to create a great meeting with the customers. The Communication Manager works in unit Sales at IKEA of Sweden, where we work to support the Home Furnishing Businesses with great tools, processes and knowledge to ensure efficient and effective ways of working, aiming to ensure that the customers successfully meet the IKEA range offer in all our touchpoints all over the world.
In the Communication team you will lead and develop the communication function, enabling easy access to coherent, relevant and up to date information accessible for the users, supporting achievement of business objectives in a fast changing global context.

With the speed of change in society, strong communication skills are key enablers to keeping people and organizations up to date and engaged. Providing access to information and spiking curiosity through strong communication enables co-workers to take lead in building the knowledge they need in their assignments. In the role as Communication Manager, you will be responsible for leading the communication team, leading and developing holistic communication within and from Sales in order to strengthen and position the IKEA brand among co-workers.
In this role you will be a part of the Sales management team being a strategic and tactical partner in Sales to define and enable the communication needs and goals. You will contribute to the implementation of business strategies, priorities and processes by leading development and implementation of the Sales communication plan.
You will lead the work to create an action plan for the team of communication leaders and communication specialists and distribute the tasks with the purpose to provide tactical and operational communication expertise and support to the functions within Sales.
We expect you to contribute in the development of the communication competence in Sales, enabling others to lead with communication and represent IKEA according to IKEA values and IKEA tone of voice.
In this role you will also be responsible for create and executing a planned process for organizational change and communication together in close collaboration with the Sales Manager and People & Culture Manager.
