Communication Professional

Sandvik IT Communications is responsible for framework, tools, common Sandvik IT communication strategy and plans, as well as for common messages and information. Our focus is to build a strong communication network globally to support the communication of a common message.

We are now looking for a Communication Professional for a temporary position until the end of 2014. The location for the position is flexible, but time needs to be spent in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As a Communication Professional your main task is to support the dialogue within the organization and provide advice on communication. To this end you will:
- Plan and perform daily operational communication activities
- Convey messages in a clear and understandable way, taking the target audience into consideration
- Provide coaching, training, support and tools
- Write, edit and publish information about Sandvik IT for both external and internal audiences
- Support the Sandvik IT Strategic Direction and managers with respect to communication issues
- Clarify areas of responsibility and delegate and coordinate the various tasks

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Communication and work experience as a Communication Professional within IT or industry. Training in project leadership and experience of change management are advantageous, as well as good computer skills, knowledge of the Adobe suite and experience from web publishing. Excellent skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal, are a prerequisite for the position. Knowledge of other languages is a further advantage.

You work well independently and, as you will be working to deadlines, it's important that you are flexible and have the ability to multi-task. Additionally, you have the ability to see the big picture and to express yourself clearly and have a structured working style.
