A dedicated team at IKEA of Sweden in Älmhult is responsible to strengthen the business by making strategic messages clear, simple and understandable for the many through inspiring communication. We build and strengthen the IKEA brand by serving as ambassadors of the IKEA culture and values and by utilising the IKEA tone of voice.

The team is the creative business partner within IKEA Range & Supply and offers consultancy, coaching and production services within the areas of news and storytelling, the digital channel landscape, graphic production, internal campaigns and video.

We are a diverse group of easygoing, straightforward people with a passion for home furnishing. We are now in need of a Communication Specialist to join the Range & Supply Communication department at IKEA of Sweden in Älmhult. You will be part of the Creative Communication Team.

Some of the key tasks will include:

- Act as a coach, consultant and producer by providing, maintaining and developing communication solutions and packages for various business needs;
- Contribute to the implementation of the IKEA business plan and other global, cross-functional business initiatives in close cooperation with management and other business stakeholders;
- Cooperate with colleagues throughout IKEA Range & Supply globally and support leaders and co-workers with various communication needs and how to package it for best communication effect and impact;
- Build, strengthen and protect the IKEA brand and tone of voice by producing and providing relevant concepts, guidelines, trainings, tools and templates;
- Support the development of the business by measuring the effect and impact of communication.

Is this your next challenge?

We believe you have a degree with an emphasis on communication and you have a graphic eye and a passion for production. You are familiar with tools for both printed and digital media.

You have a good understanding of internal and external communication and you are a good judge of how to enable business results through effective communication.

You are highly creative and solution-oriented with good problem solving skills. You have the ability to turn communication trends into new practice and see the opportunities instead of the challenges.

You have a holistic approach with an eye for the details, always with simplicity in mind.

You are fluent in both spoken and written English combined with a passion for words.

As a person you are a good listener with a strong drive. You are analytical, structured and you have a proactive approach. You are service-minded with the ability to work with prioritization and deadlines, and you stay calm in situations of high stress. You are also a good team player with the ability to lead and work independently.
