We’re now looking for a Communication Specialist to drive the communication within our global Supply organization where one main focus is to ensure that our strategy is understood and executed by our organization. Your mission
As our new Communication Specialist, you report to the Head of Internal Communications. You create a commitment to secure an understanding and pride around our brand, company strategy, and business. In addition to all our local production facilities, you also support our global supply organization – consisting of functions such as procurement and planning. Your role is to strategically support and provide them with communication plans and activities supporting our strategy through a consistent communication structure. When driving and developing our internal communication strategies, you continuously monitor what should be communicated - when, how, and to whom.
Your work aims at giving insight, direction, and energy to the organization. In addition, you proactively identify, create and publish news from across the organization to raise awareness of changes, activities and share achievements. You assist in communicating key messages and initiatives in an innovative and engaging way, and you collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate the creation of content. As required, you also take responsibility for developing, managing and delivering project-based communication.
You’re based either in our head office in Sandviken, Sweden, or in one of our Sandvik Coromant production facilities around the world. Travel is normally included in the role, approximately four times yearly.


Your profile
We're looking for someone with a degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent, and we think you've been working in a similar production setting for at least three years. You have good knowledge in Office 365, intranet platforms, Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint. In addition, you have basic knowledge of photography and are skilled in editorial work. Our corporate language is English, and since a large part of our supply organization is based in Sweden, Swedish is beneficial in this position but not a must.


We truly value your personality, characterized by your analytical mind that helps you spot communication needs and attract target groups with the right adaptive messages. You’re independent and enjoy initiating and driving your own projects, and you work equally well in teams. Thriving when coaching others in communication, you have no problems giving constructive feedback and advice. And demonstrating an organized and structured way of working, you make an excellent project manager, showing high integrity when handling confidential information. To truly succeed in this role, you must have a passion for strategic internal communication and a curiosity for digital channels and keep up to date with trends in this area to continue to push us forward as a communicative organization.
