IKEA is on an exciting digital transformation journey. We are developing our future digital capabilities. At Core Business Range we have several large initiatives ongoing in which we improve our processes, ways of working and digital solutions. Some of these are within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) area.
To support in these digital initiatives, we are looking for a Communication specialist who can plan and create clear and inspiring communication. You will also support with tasks connected to the learning area.
You will be a main contributor to these business movements. With well-planned change communication and instruction-based learning, we enable the co-workers to embrace the changes, develop their competence and to feel involved and informed. They will know what in their area will change, why it’s changing, what tasks they will do, when and how to do them.
In this role you will work at IKEA of Sweden, responsible for developing the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world. The IT Tools department in the Range & Product Management organisation supports co-workers working in the product development process with the digital tools and process they need to perform their tasks. You will be part of team supporting our digital capabilities with learning and communication.
Job Description
Identify communication and learning needs, together with Learning colleagues.
Map stakeholders and target groups.
Plan for and create change communication activities. Tailored to different target groups.
In collaboration with project managers, business/process team and other stakeholders secure that the communications are designed to meet business and co-workers’ needs.
Secure the execution of the communication plan.
Develop and maintain a consistent look and feel of the communication material both from a written and graphical perspective.
Take the lead for internal communication within the project.
Be responsible for continuously updating the material on the initiatives´ intranet pages.
Support with planning and learning tasks.
Qualification
We hope you have a passion for creating engaging communication. You understand change management and have experience from working with change communication. You find it easy to collaborate with different stakeholders and colleagues. You can see the big picture with an eye for the details. You have a genuine interest for digital and is a firm believer that communication is one key enabler for a better business.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
Proactive attitude in problem solving and hands-on approach when necessary
The capability to work with complex problems and translate into communication with IKEA tone of voice.
Strong understanding of change management and change communication.
Ability to build trustful relationships and cooperate with people in different units and cultures.
Experience of working with communication in digital initiatives is beneficial.
Good understanding of the product development process at IKEA is beneficial.
Good understanding of IKEA or other global industries.
Fluency in English.
