The client works in the automotive industry. Their international team oversees various responsibilities including purpose-driven initiatives, promoting the company's image as an employer, communicating its commitment to sustainability, enhancing the client's presence in relevant cultural occasions and events, and fostering valuable partnerships.

As a Communication Strategist specializing in Sustainability, you will have various tasks including, but not limited to:

- In Spring '24, establish a social impact fund through various communication channels to reach all key audiences
- Execute impactful cultural day campaigns
- Work together with the Stakeholder Engagement team on advocacy projects, particularly focusing on ocean health
- Lead the creation and execution of persuasive narratives, global campaigns, stories, and messages based on evidence, aiming to generate interest and support for the sustainability efforts and industry leadership. This will involve utilizing various global communication channels to drive progress
- Enhance employee involvement and promote the cilent’s brand to important external audiences such as potential and current customers, talented individuals, and stakeholders. This will be achieved through media, influential figures, and other external parties
- By working together with both internal and external partners, you will establish strong connections with stakeholders and provide them with valuable guidance and initiatives related to sustainability communication. This will involve close collaboration with various departments including Communications, Sustainability, Design, Marketing & Brand, People Experience, as well as the markets and external partners to achieve the greatest impact and long-term transformation
- Collaborating with the business goals and plans, and actively finding newsworthy communication chances, to create interesting, significant, and innovative sustainability communication strategies
- Collaborating with internal communications to develop strategies that promote employee involvement, alignment with business goals, and a strong sense of belonging. Making sure communication is clear and consistent at all levels of the company

By doing so, you will enhance their influence and actively seek out opportunities and solutions for long-term transformation. If you succeed, you will have played a significant part in driving meaningful and lasting positive change within the company and society as a whole. Additionally, you will help them attract new loyal supporters, including customers, talented individuals, and other stakeholders, while also contributing to their sustainable growth.

You possess a vast amount of experience in public relations, social media, and journalism. You can effectively use various channels and methods to achieve the desired business results. You have a genuine interest in developing unique communication strategies and are skilled at identifying the most suitable channel for each situation.

You possess a strong passion and understanding of sustainability and recognize its importance in the business world. You understand that sustainability is crucial for a company's resilience and success. Above all, you align with the values and goals of the client. Requirements

- You are a dedicated and innovative communications or marketing expert who has worked for a multinational company for 8-10 years. Your expertise includes effectively communicating sustainability-related messages
- The ability to plan communication effectively by using a strategic, analytical, and innovative approach. This includes being able to work independently and handle multiple projects and agencies while ensuring a balance between quality and efficiency
- A deep understanding of current and future sustainability issues on a global scale, and the capability to connect them with business initiatives and actions
- Exceptional English language skills in both written and spoken communication, with the talent to create compelling and concise messages that resonate with diverse audiences
- Outstanding abilities in organizing and managing projects, including effectively engaging and coordinating with various stakeholders and agencies to ensure timely completion in a fast-paced setting
- Innate talent for collaborating and establishing positive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues within the organization
- Proficient in simplifying complex situations and translating intricate business and technology messages into a receiver-friendly way
