About the role
We are now looking for a global Communications Manager to help drive the storytelling of our company and services in order to connect Wehype with clients, content creators, and gamers all over the world.
As part of the Brand and Communications team, you will use your communication skills and great understanding of our product offerings to develop and execute effective marketing activations including event management and media relations programs. You will report to the Head of Brand and Communications, and work alongside our social media and community counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a plan for company-focused events, key external events and speaking opportunities around the world
- Work with Head of Brand and Communications and CEO for opportunities to engage in panels, interviews, podcasts, etc.
- Write and produce engaging materials incl. blogs, and social media posts, and help guide copy in client-facing material such as sales pitches
- Build and maintain key media relationships incl. coordinating PR activities
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends to support marketing communication planning
Requirements
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of working experience in public relations required
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Event planning experience
- Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with an attention to detail
- Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
