Our exciting opportunity
Business Area Technologies and New Businesses is looking for a passionate and hands-on communications professional to drive and implement internal and employee-focused communications. This role is global in scope and reports to the Head of Communications at BTEB.
The incumbent works closely with her/his counterpart located in the United States and the full BTEB Communications Team of eight people. Our next Communications Manager – Employee Engagement has a strategic attitude and experience from crafting forward-leaning and proactive communication plans, but is – first and foremost – a doer who gets the work done.
Although predominantly passionate about internal communications, the position also includes some external elements such as product launches and support in conjunction with events.

You will:
Help design and implement BTEB’s internal and employee communications strategy globally
Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement measurable communications to support Ericsson’s cultural and business objectives
Use innovative communications methods and channels to engage and encourage employees
Offer communications support to one of our key business portfolio units
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics for continuous improvement
Develop and implement communications programs, including newsletters, all-employee meetings, leaders’ forums, video series, etc


To be successful in the role you have:
A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in communications
A passion for internal communications and employee engagement
Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills with a track record of producing high-quality written content
Experience thriving in a highly matrixed organization with many different stakeholders and a broad variety of responsibilities
The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment while balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
Successful experience influencing peers, and inspiring a team by being open to new ideas, enthusiastically accepting challenges and leading with optimism
A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, social science or a similar degree


Essential skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Strong writer and editor focused
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
