Communications Specialist & Project Manager to the global Change Communications team at H&M

Job Description
H&M’s Marketing & Communications department is located in Stockholm and supports 75 countries around the world. We have the strategic and operational responsibility to build the H&M brand, both internally and externally, and are set up in cross-functional teams. Our transformation journey continues at a fast pace throughout the H&M Group. The newly established Change Communications team enable and support business and organisational transformation moving forward, and secure the most impact from a communications perspective.
In this role, you have the strategic and operational responsibility to initiate, lead, execute and follow-up on various change communications projects and activities, mostly internally but also externally towards media. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with your lovely colleagues in the Change Communications team, Change Leads in different parts of the business, HR teams, Communications teams at H&M and H&M Group as well as with the central functions at the head office, the regions and country sales markets. We aim to communicate to target groups in a transparent way through our communications channels, and by doing so contribute to raise awareness, understanding and trust throughout transformation processes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead and drive assigned change communication projects with great motivation. Set project plans and strategies - execute and implement them.
Production of various communications material; strategy, project plans, presentations and speaker notes, guidelines, mails, messages and statements, articles, images, films etc.
Fuel positive energy and create engagement through internal employer branding communication.
Raise external awareness of why H&M is transforming, our exciting direction forward and what we want to achieve through proactive media relations/external communication.
Provide and support leaders with updated and relevant information about changes within H&M, to give them the best prerequisites to communicate with their teams and deliver messages.
Stakeholder management - collaborate with internal stakeholders in order to achieve successful change communications projects, for example Change Leads in different parts of the business, HR teams, Communications teams at H&M and H&M Group as well as with the central functions at the head office, the regions and country sales markets.
Qualifications
We believe that you have strong social and collaboration skills and enjoy engaging with multiple stakeholders within large organizations. You have the capacity to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously. You also have the mindset to constantly drive change in the fast speed environment we operate in. As a person, you are a real team player, flexible, result-driven and able to inspire and drive change with tight deadlines, and like to have fun with your colleagues while doing it. Successful candidates will have a great experience of both internal and external communication, project management as well as a global mindset. Competence from working with communications in one of our country sales markets or regions will be meritorious.
We also believe that you:
5+ years of work experience within the area
Have a higher education within communications, journalism and/or marketing
Have extended experience from similar roles in internal and external communications
Have proven project management skills and strong attention to detail
Have great collaboration and communication skills, being able to describe complex information in a concise way to a broad audience.
Have excellent writing skills and are fluent in English, both spoken and written
Have leadership qualities
