Community Manager

Do you want to be part of creating the most fun & playful community experience for kids?
As a Community Manager here at Toca Boca you will be part of a team launching multiple community platforms for the Toca Life World players to engage in a fun, playful, and safe way. You’ll put your creativity to good use and engage with kids on their level. You will be the voice of Toca Life World to our players.
What you’ll be doing!
It will be your responsibility to maintain safe experiences for our players and communities. You’ll work closely together with Jonny, our Customer Experience Manager, continue to develop and iterate on the community management strategy for Toca Life World.
You’ll manage and build relationships with volunteer moderators and influencers on our community platforms, fostering a fun playful community experience that delivers on the strategy goals. Player safety is absolute paramount as our target audience is kids under 13. We have a core of “trust” amongst parents that let their kids use our apps and we should be seen as an industry leader in this regard with community engagement as well. Decisions should always be made with player safety in mind.
You’ll also collaborate with Parker, our Social Media Specialist, in creating engaging SoMe content such as polls, competitions, puzzles and creative tasks.
Is this you?
You have previous experience working with community management platforms such as Discord or similar. You’ve also got experience engaging with communities on social media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
You believe in the power of play and enjoy working with kids as your target audience.
As you will be managing our community with a focus on North America it is important that you are fluent in English and have great writing skills.

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months of probationary employment. As we’re an international company, with over 10 nationalities and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English.
