Avalanche Studios is the leading independent game developer in Sweden employing approximately 80 persons. Our first game, Just Cause, was released in 2006 and has sold in over 1 million copies all over the world. To be released March 2010 the follow-up, Just Cause 2, has already received raving reviews. Focused on original IP projects and high-profile licenses we are currently working on multiple high-end titles for PS3, XBOX and PC. Avalanche Studios does also own and develop theHunter, the world's most realistic hunting simulator. Avalanche Studios is a technology intense company where it's important that our staff is feeling great and are having fun together. Further you will work as part of a cross functional team together with some of the most talented and experienced individuals in the gaming industry. We are located in new and modern premises in central Stockholm. We are currently looking for a Community Manager for theHunter with the responsibility for a wide range of assignments. You will be the person communicating with current users and the community at large, through forums, email, social media and more. You will also manage Customer Support, including solving incoming issues as well as proactively work to improve the gaming experience overall together with the rest of the team. Your responsibilities also include creating and maintaining tutorials and guides as well as promotional work to create player engagement and satisfaction. All external communication will be in English. As a person you should be service-minded and a self-starter, eager to always improve. You should be tech-savvy and an avid gamer. You are probably the person everyone asks no matter if it is computer troubleshooting, how to develop a webpage or what is the latest hype in social media. Requirements: . Experience from gaming community participation and engagements . Experience from developing web pages, including basic programming and design skills . Deep technical knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting . Passion for community and its role in game development and marketing . Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English . Ability to plan work and deliver on time . Self-motivated, driven and service-minded with a strong work ethic .
