In 2011 we launched Star Stable Online, a real game for girls. No one thought would make it but we’re here today, a decade later, with a full-grown franchise with books, music, animation, mobile version of the game, and other connecting apps. We made it, but we’re not done and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing community. The SSO community is not like other communities, they are unique!

For us to last another decade and beyond, we’re looking for our Community Manager to join us and create magic along the way!

What will this role look like?

Where do our community members hang out? What do they share with us? What engages our community members? How do we collect feedback in the best way? How do we establish secure internal workflows to maximize knowledge sharing between stakeholders? These are some of the everyday questions you will have top of mind when leading the community strategy of Star Stable Online.

The position will engage the communities and social conversations across several platforms with a global focus. Communication and channel skills, a love for games, and a willingness to listen, engage and talk are essential for this position. There are three main components to this role: Community Management i.e.guide and delighting our community, Collaboration between teams, and owning the content calendar.

- Build and maintain future-proof global community strategy with a focus to improve brand awareness and affinity in growth markets.
- Create loyalty, trust and strengthen relationships with current and potential customers.
- Scale our unique impact in the world by increasing our digital footprint.
- Be a key stakeholder in bringing player feedback to the game feature roadmap.


We believe that you…

- Previous experience in community management and crafting engagement strategies
- Have a user perspective in everything you do and represent the community perspective in the organization
- Are great with handling both the positive and critical feedback from the community
- Are comfortable with finding new collaborative ways of working and improving processes together with other Community Managers and other stakeholders
- Are able to articulate what information you capture from the community to help the team to stay up to date and know how to continue building new amazing things.
- Love to collaborate with the rest of the Community team and other functions of an organization and find relevant stakeholders to drive the work of Star Stable Online's community work forward.
