Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The role of the Compensation & Benefit Specialist is to support the Swedish operation and the business area HR with Compensation and Benefit activities, with focus mainly on the blue collar collective. You will have a colleague focusing mainly on the white collar collective.

The role involves contact with all levels within Scania where you are expected to take a proactive approach within the Compensation & Benefit area.

Together with your colleague you are to ensure that Sweden is aligned and act as a role model towards the Global Compensation policy as well as ensuring that we follow Swedish law and regulations.

 

Scania is in the work of implementing a global Job Architecture for all levels. You will have an important part in creating and implementing the Pay Roll structure for Sweden connected to the Job Architecture.

 Another crucial part of the role is to align with the local unions in the variety of different compensation topics that concerns the Swedish operations

 

 Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

 


• Ensure Sweden functional locations are operating according to Global Compensation Policy and drive the development of compensation functionality in Sweden
• Deep knowledge of Collective Agreements and regulations for renumeration

 


• Manage and develop the Employee Benefit portfolio in Sweden

 


• Responsible for the annual salary review process for the Blue collar collective in Sweden, including taking part in the union negotiations and co-determinations
• Plan and perform trainings of HR and managers in Swedish salary setting principles and procedures
• Conduct market analysis activities for the Swedish operation
• Act as an advisor to Business Area HR and managers with remuneration advises in recruiting and promotion by using existing market data
• Manage the annual (gender) pay survey
• Perform communication and information activities around Compensation and Benefits in Sweden, through various channels
• Cooperate with local unions in questions regarding compensation and benefits

Profile

 You have an academic degree or corresponding in relevant fields.


• 3-5 years of experience from working with compensation and benefit queries
• Used to work in a complex matrix organization
• Earlier experience from creating good relations and negotiate with the unions
• Good knowledge in Swedish Labour Law
• Strong analytical ability
• Comfortable in performing trainings and presentations for both small and large audiences
• Skilled in Excel
• Experience from market analysis
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in communicating in both English and Swedish
