The fundamental goal of the Compensation & Benefits unit, which is a part of group staff HR, is to support Sandvik's business, in the best possible manner, with competence, knowledge and systems in the areas covered by Compensation & Benefits.This means working with global Compensation & Benefits structures, salary formation, salary review, variable compensation, pensions, insurance and other benefits, as well as market information and statistics for the area.Additionally, the unit has responsibility for International Assignments. The Compensation & Benefits unit, which consists of five people and is located in Sandviken, is now looking for a colleague to work with operational tasks within the entire Compensation & Benefits area, with a focus on International Assignments, as well as market information, statistics, analysis and compilations. Key performance areas Your work involves participating in the production of market information within Compensation & Benefits globally, as well as responsibility for analyses, compilations and reports, both requested and proactively initiated. Your main tasks include: - building structures for use in salary reviews globally.- maintaining contacts for ensuring delivery of market information from external suppliers.- routine administration of policy, contracts and compensation and benefits issues for Sandvik's 250 expatriates.- work with system support within International Assignments (IA) together with our IA Manager: conduct calculations, make contract proposals, meet expatriates and suppliers, etc.- maintain close collaboration with the business areas. The position is a global one, which means you must be prepared to travel and carry out on-site assignments throughout the Sandvik organization.Your profile We are looking for someone with relevant academic education, and experience of working in a global corporation is advantageous.Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and good computer skills are required. As an individual, you are independent, analytical and motivated, with an unassuming presentation.We value a co-operative spirit and open, straightforward communication.Good English skills, spoken and written, are required.
