Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Intro
Scania is currently in the midst of a multi-year People & Culture transformation including implementing our first-ever global HR system, which will become the core system for all HR-processes globally.
We at People and Services Sweden are looking for a specialist to our Compensation & Benefits team. The team is responsible for the annual salary review process, our profit sharing plan and the compensation strategy for the Swedish market. We collaborate closely with neighbouring departments and the HR Community internally at Scania, unions, external stakeholders and networks.
Your tasks
You will create and maintain the Compensation & Benefits definitions, standards and policies. We have a lot of thrilling challenges ahead of us so we want you with us as soon as possible.
• Develop compensation structures based on business goals and strategy
• Create consistent compensation guidelines
• Conduct salary and labour market research to define benchmarks
• Apply effective communication strategies
• Keep abreast with new trend and best practices
• Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations
• Liaison with internal stakeholders and union representatives
Your profile
You have University or College degree within relevant area and at least 3 years of experience working compensation and benefits and that your profile match most of the points below.
• Hands on experience with salary review planning, preparation and execution
• Familiarity with employment regulations and collective bargaining agreements
• Hands on experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Salary statistics and business intelligence (Qlikview, PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
• Experience working with market data vendors and job structures (preferably Korn Ferry and/or Mercer)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
As a person you have a strategic mindset, excellent problem solving and analytical skills. You are comfortable with presentations and have the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This role requires strong people skills in order to influence, collaborate, motivate, and drive timely and effective results. You need to be fluent in Swedish and have good English skills.
