Scania Academy
In Scania´s journey to becoming the leader in sustainable transport solutions, Scania Academy supports the business to develop top employees. We enable all employees to perform at their best by providing solutions that increase and secure the right competencies, behaviours, and attitudes to reach the business targets.
Are you the driven and curious Competence Developer we are looking for?
We are expanding our scope of responsibility and are looking for a new team member.
We are a diverse team with a lot of knowledge and experience within learning and development. To complete our team puzzle we are looking for someone with a great passion for learning and a natural verbal ability to navigate through the organizational landscape. You have good knowledge of digital tools (for example video and image editing) and methods to design tailored and effective learning journeys. We believe different backgrounds and experiences enrichen our team and would love to be inspired by areas other than our current ones.
Scania Academy is a support function for the global organization in competence development. Our mission is to support the organization in identifying skill needs, offering methods and tools for competence development, and strengthening results.
Our customer is the commercial network worldwide. We work within all business areas such as Connected Services, Trucks, Buses&Coaches, Power Solutions, and E-mobility Solutions.
What is the position about?
In the role of Competence Developer you work together with the business owner to develop and deliver learning solutions. The process starts with identifying the customer’s needs, followed by the development and delivery of the solution. The learning landscape has become more and more digital so we use many different formats, both digital and face-to-face, to deliver our trainings.
The length of assignments can be in a range of a few weeks up to a couple of years. Mainly the scope is product training in a combination of strategic concept and value argumentation. We see more of continuous introduction/value teams initiatives coming up where we adapt our deliveries accordingly which creates a dynamic climate.
We work cross-functional throughout Scania’s organization where international contacts are a natural part of the work.
Your profile
Since we specialize in learning, it is essential that you have an open and curious mind that always wants to learn new things. You are self-driven and prestige less, dare to ask questions and are eager to understand the context and dig deeper if needed. You are a real team player that likes to work and develop together with others.
Preferably, but not limited to, you have a University degree in the field of user behavioural science or psychology, or corresponding work experience. We see it as a merit if you have a service background or web-design experience or equivalent professional experience also. You can express yourself in English, both orally and in writing.
As a group we work a lot with developing our ways of working, our team and ourselves. We are on a team journey together. Do you want to join us?
Where
Our office is based in Södertälje, although we have the possibility to work partly from home.
What’s in it for you
We offer you a fun, interesting, challenging and developing journey together with engaged colleagues within Scania Academy. The work environment is international and your colleagues and stakeholders are representing different nationalities. In this exciting and dynamic surrounding, you can influence the future within the TRATON organization.
