Scania Academy is a support function for the global organisation in competence development. Our mission is to support the organisation in identifying skills needs, offering methods and tools for competence development and strengthening the results.

What to expect

In the role of Competence Developer Technical Training you are, together with the customer, responsible for efficiently developing and delivering technical training solutions. Our workflow is focused on identifying needs, developing and finally delivering technical training for the global network. We work with practical and digitalized methods to meet the customer's needs. We also identify good examples of training in the Business Units and bring them into the global training portfolio.

Your profile

As a person you have an including behaviour, you find it easy to communicate with others and want to contribute to behavioural changes. You like to work in project form and have the ability to translate the needs of different customers into well-adapted training solutions. You are good at creating structure, have analytical ability and thrive with coordinating tasks. Good skills in Office 365 is a requirement as well as a driving licence class B. English is our corporate language and we expect you to be proficient in both speaking and writing.

We think you have a University degree in the field of technics, or something similar, and we believe you have a couple of years of experience linked to products or services in the field of heavy vehicles. It is a merit if your technical background is within vehicle technology or electrical engineering and also if you have a driving licence for bus or truck. Knowledge about image and video editing is also a merit and we hope you have a genuine interest in making people grow and develop new skills.
