Background
Operations Development (OD) supports Alfa Laval Operations in making sustainable improvements and achieving its most important goals through solutions that give Alfa Laval competitive advantages. We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Competence Development Manager to drive the L&D agenda within Operations. We aim to develop and implement high impact learning & development programs/services in line with business needs and priorities, today and tomorrow.
About the job
This is a new role that arose due to the need of developing and implementing learning strategies and programs for the great team of Operations within Production and Manufacturing.
To be successful in this, you´ll be establishing strong partnerships with the business to gain understanding of current challenges and opportunities, as related to learning and development. You´ll analyse the needs and create project scope and milestones for different Operations initiatives on the topic of Competence Development.
This role is also responsible for driving development of various internal courses, e-learnings etc, which includes delivering trainings to various parts of the business and working with stakeholders to coordinate and organise training sessions, as well as conducting train the trainer workshops.
Sometimes we´ll have the need for external partnerships when it comes to upskilling and reskilling, where you´ll act as speaking partner, as well as maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants. This of course includes sourcing and recommending vendors and other external partners to design, develop, and/or deliver learning solutions where applicable.

What you know
* Proven experience as an L&D Manager/Competence Development Manager
* Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods – White Collar (WC) and Blue Collar (BC)
* Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
* Experience in project management and budgeting
* Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
