Job Description
Digital Core is a part of the Customer Fulfilment domain and is the digital thread throughout our supply chain. Our vision is to create a world leading supply chain tech team that will enable Business Tech to continuously surprise and delight customers and accelerate our business - by releasing the power of people, data and technology. We explore new ways of working, have a customer focused mindset, embrace our strong values, and develop products that make a meaningful impact to customers all over the world.
About the role
Business Tech is the new agile product organisation within the larger H&M group. You will be part of a team owning a product end-to-end with a mission to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. In our Digital Core product area you will work mostly with SAP SD, MM or Trade solutions.
The role has a dual focus including both staff responsibility for employees within a competence area, as well as contributing as a software engineer within your product team. As a competence lead you are a key enabler of the agile way of working, ensuring that employees have the best possible circumstances to develop and grow. Through your own deliveries you keep a connection with the ongoing business to remain a relevant speaking partner to the employees. The Software Engineer role is broad and will give you an opportunity to learn and use your functional knowledge, configuration, testing, development, and technical competences. We always strive to continuously build knowledge and learn beyond our current skillsets. As a Software Engineer you are expected to be part of all phases of the software development lifecycle, from idea and analysis to working solutions. You will work with agile methodologies in quarterly increments, broken down into shorter sprints. The work will be focused around the product backlog, created based on agreed product mission as well as defined objectives and key results.
You will work closely with the product owner, other software engineers and business experts. Furthermore, you will collaborate with stakeholders in other product teams and enabling functions, as well as with logistics operations. This is an opportunity to try out your creative and innovative ideas – and have a large impact on how we shape the future of fashion supply chains.
We are on a journey together which means there is no clear path. You will play an important role in building our products and leading our new organisation.
