Competence Lead SAP Software Engineer - Stock Accounting

Being a Competence Lead means that you have a dual focus, including both staff responsibility and contributing operationally within your product team. By contributing with your own delivery, you have a clear connection with the ongoing business to remain a relevant speaking partner for the employees.
Responsibilities
As a leader you will have staff responsibility for employees within the similar competence as your own, working across different product teams within the same product area. Your tasks include performance review, salary reviews and other staff related activities. You will support, coach, and help your employees grow and develop as well as work in close collaboration with Product Owners other Competence Leads and Software Engineers when it comes to recruiting new employees and workforce planning.
As a SAP Software Engineer you will be a part of a cross functional team working with the Stock Accounting Product. The team strive for world class financial supply chain and inventory management solutions to ensure global compliance and accurate stock valuation for stakeholders and customers. You will enable business development by your system- and business knowledge, where you propose and design high level changes for future solutions and participate and guide in questions regarding design of roll-out or other projects to secure the global template. Some of your daily work includes:
Analyze business requirements and come up with solutions
Configure and/or write technical specifications to develop new functionality
Test, support and maintain your product within Stock Accounting
Work with performance management and salary review for your employees
In your daily work coach and keep an ongoing dialogue with members in your competence team
Remain compliant with laws and policies, and act when necessary, regarding e.g., under performance, work environment, etc.



Who are you?
We believe you have a solid experience in the SAP Accounting and Controlling Area regarding design, concepts, principles, and configurations. You are strategic, analytical, and fast in understanding and execution. You inspire others and believe in collaboration. You are passionate about coaching, empowering and leading others through humble servant leadership. You love to solve complex problems with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Furthermore, we believe you have:
Expertise within SAP (SD, MM, FICO)
Experience within Finance and Accounting working with configuration, testing and support in SAP
A genuine interest in accounting process flow
Driven and curious with the passion to learn
Acted as a leader and have experience from servant leadership within an agile framework
Great communications skills with a strong ability to simplify the complex and make things tangible.

It’s a plus If you have knowledge in the areas of ABAP, integrations, and Fiori.
