Competitive Insights & Strategy is an organization within Marketing, responsible for understanding players in the industry and how they influence Tetra Pak in terms of strategy, portfolio and business models. Organization is responsible for competitor insights, strategy review, price and quality analysis summarized into competitiveness insights.
What you will do
As a Competitive Insights Manager you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for delivery of insights and elaborate strategic recommendations to the Tetra Pak senior organisation.
You will lead competitor research in different areas, on both macro and micro level, to ensure accurate, timely and relevant input - acting as support to decision making and strategic direction to stakeholders at different levels, e.g. Strategy & Planning, Product Management, Development organisation, Cluster and Market companies.
You will also lead system cost analysis to understand all cost elements and value drivers of our own and of the competitor systems – this to understand our competitiveness in detail. You will develop, maintain and improve analysis tools to respond to business requirements. Based on your competitor research you will guide commercial stakeholders and carry out internal trainings on a global basis. The industry is changing with new business models, changing with areas like IoT, Industry 4.0, E-commerce and sustainability.
To be successful in the role you should be able to analyse areas from technical, portfolio and financial perspectives, as well as merge and acquisitions.
This position can be located in any markets, including Modena – IT and Lund – SE where majority of the team is located, but you will work in a global arena. You will travel around 10% of your time.
Who you are
We believe that you are a person with excellent data & finance analytical skills and consultancy background. You are highly skilled in gathering, managing and interpreting data and trends to create relevant information insights and translate it into strategy recommendation.
To conclude the impact, of your findings, for Tetra Pak, is core of the work. You are self confident, structured and can create the needed networks. Experience with people’s management, delegation, empowering and informal authority to influence and communicate on all organisational levels.
You possess strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills and are used to work a lot with MS office programs. You can be described as a creative detective with a passion for industry insights.
We believe you have a Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering, together with 5 years experience from competitor or business research in a major company or consultancy company.
Fluency in English, verbally as well as in writing, is required. Experience from Commercial Operations or Product Management and Market Operations is considered a merit.
