Your mission
As a Compliance and Legal Responsible, you will act as the point of contact and be responsible for the compliance and legal area for battery systems. Your mission in this role will be to define, drive and coordinate certifications and standards of components and systems. Your responsibilities would include battery safety and standards organizations, risk assessments, and supporting customer requests and questions before and after order.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you should be technically proficient in areas of Electrical and Mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with product compliance. You have experience in self-declaration and certification of battery products within Europe and other markets and in applying current European and American standards and legislative acts for Lithium-ion battery products. You also need to have a basic understanding of safety and functional safety.
Other experience and knowledge desired for this role include EMC knowledge, Experience in LVD, REACH and RoHS and Battery directive/regulation. Experience in certification of wireless products within and outside Europe would be also beneficial.
To enjoy the work you should be very resourceful and able to work independently. You need to be a highly organized person, in order to work efficiently and effectively. Since your work includes many local and global contacts, very good English skills (verbal and written) are required.

Location and other
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, Swedish local terms and conditions will apply.
