Compliance Counsel Anti-Trust and Competition Law AB Volvo, Corporate Compliance in Gothenburg


Corporate Compliance is a head-office function responsible for managing the Volvo Group Anti-Corruption, Competition Law, Sanction & Export Control and Data Protection Compliance Programs. We are working in close cooperation with the legal function of the Volvo Group and all Divisions and Business Areas.
 
The Compliance Counsel Anti-Trust and Competition Law will be responsible for further developing and driving the implementation of the Group’s compliance initiatives and programs with respect to Ant-Trust and Competition Law across the Volvo Group.


With a direct reporting line to the Chief Compliance Officer, this position is responsible for the following tasks:  
Support tone from the top and communication across the Group
Ensure adequate risk assessment and risk based program focus
Oversee and further refine Volvo’s Anti-Trust and Competition Law Policies and other related risk mitigating processes
Ensure risk based and tailored compliance training and communication as part of Volvo’s overall compliance training strategy
Ensure appropriate program monitoring and reporting to secure effectiveness
Assume responsibility for managing anti-trust and competition law related investigations and proceedings.
Advise on critical anti-trust matters

All of the above tasks will require intensive collaboration and alignment with Volvo Group’s Truck Divisions, Business Areas and Group Functions. As a member of the Corporate Compliance function, you will work in a team to address overlapping compliance topics and lift synergies.  
 
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in the area of anti-trust and competition law either in an international law firm or as an in-house counsel
Strong business acumen with a sense for practical solutions in multi-cultural environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
