About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Paralegal to independently prepare legal documentation and interact with Authorities within a specific legal area and/or assist the Legal Counsels in Group Function Legal Affairs in the administration of legal matters, including without limitation, preparation of case files, documentation, legal research and file maintenance.
What you will do
Provide support in developing culture of compliance, setting an example for transparency and promoting an environment where speaking up in a professional manner is encouraged
Perform self-testing activates on all hallmark of our Compliance Program, including but not limited to plausibility checks on vendors and external sales-partners, spot checks on Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality adherence and awareness in MELA.
Follow-up and monitor timely completion of Compliance related remediation actions identified via Compliance Risk Assessments, Monitoring and Testing activities or investigations / or audits in context of our CoBE
Provide admin support to MA Compliance team to ensure efficient operations
Serve documentation and retention lead for MA Compliance Team. This includes compliance communications, agendas, minutes, presentations, third party due diligence, training material, compliance advice etc.
Help plan and organise internal and external; events, meetings, workshops and trainings
Support with use of Ericson administrative tools
Responsible to confidential and time sensitive material
Assist with managing MA Head of Compliance and Compliance Officer in operative advisory matters as needed
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on compliance issues and initiatives
Maintain advanced understanding of the local business activities and applicable laws and regulations
Support in identifying local compliance priorities, help plan and prioritize activities
Help ensure the publications of compliance-related materials including distribution
Use Compliance Dashboards including third party and case management systems to retrieve and provide data and KPIs overviews
Assist Market Area Head of Compliance in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations, including proofreading, retrieving data and KPIs
Support with other tasks as assigned.

Education: academic degree
Min years of experience: 0
Previous paralegal experience and/or certificate in paralegal studies: preferable
Local laws and regulations knowledge
Project management skills
Team working skills
Administration and organizing skills
Adept at following detailed process and procedures
