Arbetsbeskrivning
Sandvik holds a leading position on the rock processing market, delivering cutting edge products and solutions to customers around the globe. To further accelerate the growth and focus on this area, we recently established the new business area Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP), consisting of the former Crushing and Screening division.
In order to strengthen the new business area, we’re now looking for a Compliance Director – a dedicated people’s person with strong integrity and a passion for doing business in an ethical and sustainable way. This is a unique opportunity to join SRP on an exciting journey where Legal and Compliance will be a central part of the business strategy. We need someone who is eager to take the lead in creating awareness and actively promoting the importance of compliance while ensuring the development of a solid compliance culture throughout the entire organization.
Your mission
This is an important role with responsibility for the full suite of global compliance programs and culture. As a business partner to the global SRP organization, you are on a mission to promote a high level of compliance with laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, but also to implement monitoring frameworks for identifying, report and mitigate compliance risks within your area of responsibility. You work actively to raise and maintain the awareness of all compliance related matters throughout the organization, by connecting our compliance programs to our operations in an easy and understandable way – making it a natural part of our day to day business. Through audits, communication and training, you make sure that we are well equipped for managing both risks and opportunities across SRP Divisions and Sales Areas.
As you understand the importance of compliance in a sustainable and profitable business, you act as a link to the Sandvik Group’s Compliance functional council – ensuring collaboration across Sandvik’s other business areas and up to Sandvik Group Executive Management and the Board.
You report directly to the Business Area General Counsel. The location for this role is preferably in Svedala or Stockholm, but other locations can be discussed as well. Travel between our sites and some additional international travel is a natural part of the job.
Your Profile
For this position, we need someone with a relevant degree – such as Law, Business Administration or Finance – in combination with expert knowledge of compliance, governance, audits and risk management. Implementing global compliance programs, driving change and guiding senior management is part of your previous career, and experiences from the manufacturing industry is a strong advantage. Implementing Compliance programs is a significant part of how you have built your professional experience. Your leadership style is inclusive, transparent and credible. You master stakeholder management and are skilled in inspiring people around you to reach their full potential. You are also tech savvy and want to explore how compliance matters can benefit from digital solutions. Doing business in all corners of the world requires a cultural awareness and excellent communication skills in English, and knowledge of other languages including Swedish is a plus.
Mixing a broad perspective with analyzing complex details, and critically evaluating the risks and rewards of your next steps are your key success factors. Solid communication skills help you to build trust and develop global networks and collaborations. You are persistent, organized and know how to prioritize, and your agility and passion for change inspire people around you and create a strong buy-in across the organization.
