The role
Polarium is seeking to recruit a Compliance Manager with the responsibility to develop and update Polariums Compliance framework and function. The Compliance Manager reports directly to the Head of Corporate Affairs. The essential duties of the role entails to:
Review and update of existing framework and policies (such as Code of Conduct, Supplier Code of Conduct, Business Ethic Framework etc)
Conduct a risk map to identify most prioritized areas (such as third party management, KYC, trade compliance, governmental permits and licenses etc)
Design and implement efficient training processes together with colleagues in different functions and organizational units
Ensuring that the compliance program effectively prevents and/or detects violation of law, regulations, organization policies, or the code of conduct.
Requirements profile
We are searching for a candidate with a Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, or related field. A successful candidate has;
At least five years of relevant experience.
Experience from working in a global matrix organization.
Thorough understanding of legal requirements and procedures; experience from US related or US based Compliance framework is a plus.
