As a Compliance Manager, you are responsible for maintaining and developing the internal control system that ensures the company’s compliance with internal policies and regulations. Further on, you will support the organization in regulatory issues and, among other things, work with risk analysis, evaluation and streamlining of processes. The position is at our facility in Kungsör, Sweden.
Examples of tasks:
Streamline and implement processes for internal control and compliance within our European entities.
Identify and report potential risks or deviations and develop action plans.
Compile best practice from different departments and gradually introduce a consistent approach to the entire European organization within specific areas.
Perform semi-annual analyses for segregation of duties (SOD).
Maintain SOX documentation in conjunction with process owners.
Act as a contact person for internal and external auditors within compliance and coordination measures.
Maintain required documentation in conjunction with process owners.
Assist Corporate Legal with coordinating and monitoring local activities for compliance matters, such as Sales Rep compensation, and GDPR compliance.
Perform activities related to contract administration, including reviews of distributor contracts and developing intercompany contracts in coordination with Corporate Tax.
Coordinate the Quarterly Accounting Review process and perform Quarterly Reviews as needed.



About you
To succeed in this position, you need to have a university degree in economics and at least 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing or similar. It is a great advantage if you have previous experience of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and GDPR. internal control, as well as working for an international company.
Besides the education and work experience we look for an associate that is motivated, has excellent communication and co-operation skills and an accurate and structured approach.
As the corporate language is English, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
