Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Compliance Manager you play a key role in ensuring that processes, products, and services comply with relevant laws, standards and regulations. This newly created role involves coordinating compliance efforts across our four business areas and establishing an effective collaboration model. You will implement new standards, ensure requirements are met in development projects and may participate in international committees for creating ISO standards. Your tasks include assessments, audits, risk analysis and providing expert advice and guidance on compliance issues. The team is global and works across multiple time zones, offering you a broad and international working environment.
• Ensure processes, products and services comply with laws, standards and regulations
• Coordinate compliance work across four business areas and establish a collaboration model
• Implement new standards, ensure compliance in development projects and participate in ISO standard committees
• Conduct assessments, audits, risk analyses, and provide expert advice on compliance matters
• Work within a global team across different time zones
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Experience in product safety and standards
• Experience in regulatory compliance related to the Machinery Directive and ANSI B56.1
• Technical and/or legal work experience is a plus
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, knowledge of Swedish and/or Finnish is advantageous
We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks and drives processes forward in a structured manner, especially as this is a new role where you will coordinate compliance efforts. Given the expert nature of the role you should have the ability to think abstractly and handle complex issues, which is beneficial both as a function leader and as an advisor. You are skilled at building relationships and are comfortable initiating dialogue, which is crucial as you work across the organization. You can maintain structure in your work, determine priorities and take the initiative to start projects or discussions.
