The West Atlantic Group is one of the markets leading providers of dedicated airfreight service to European National Mail Organisations and airfreight capacity to Global Integrators and freight forwarders.
The Group has a well-established geographic network and operate a customised aircraft fleet of 40 aircrafts, which includes the British Aerospace ATP, ATR, Bombardier CRJ 200 PF, Boeing 737-300 / 400/ 800.
West Atlantic was founded in 1962 and its headquartered in office buildings at Malmö Airport, Sweden. Operation are performed all over Europe with a staff around 500 employees. West Atlantic holds two Air Operating Certificates, one in UK and one in Sweden, which together operate over 24,000 flights serving more than 50 destinations. West Atlantic is now looking for a Compliance Monitoring Manager in Malmö/Sturup, who wants to work in a corporate culture that is characterized by cooperation and team spirit. The role of the compliance monitoring manager is to ensure that the activities of the operator are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory and operator requirements and that these activities are carried out properly under the supervision of the relevant heads of functional areas.
The job:
• Ensure that our operating activities are monitored for compliance with regulatory requirements
• Audits, including training of internal auditors
• Be ambassador and initiator of process improvement
• Operational Compliance Monitoring programme
• Implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks and compliance deficiencies
• Quality procedures in accordance with internal and external requirements
You:
• Are educated to degree level or equivalent
• Have a background in Aviation and/or compliance
• Minimum 5 years recent aviation or compliance experience
• Are fluent in English and Swedish both oral and written
• Have excellent abilities in MS Office 365
• Have a high level of problem solving and planning skills/experience, both day to day and strategic
• As a minimum you must meet the requirements of AMC1 ORO.GEN.200(a)(6), (c)(3)(iii)
