Compliance Officer


We are now looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Nasdaq compliance team in Stockholm.

With this position we offer


In this role, you will be part of the core compliance team focusing on compliance and audits for Nasdaqs Nordic regulated entities. You will have the chance to work in a small team of driven and dedicated compliance officers and lawyers reporting to the Nordic and Baltic Head of Compliance.


Your role and responsibilities


Work with the management of one or more of the regulated entities and operational departments to formalize and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that the business complies with applicable securities laws and EU regulation.


Ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to prevent, detect and correct compliance failures.


Participate in the maintenance and development of a solid compliance framework.


Be an excellent partner with supervisory authorities and other regulators.


Collaborate with management to develop new compliance policies and procedures, as necessary.


Report to the Board of Directors in relation to compliance matters on a quarterly basis.


Prepare, maintain and update all written supervisory and operating procedures.


Follow up on new regulation and engage with relevant internal stakeholders and regulators to ensure compliant implementation.


We expect you to have


Masters of law preferred.


At least 3-5 years of relevant experience within compliance within a financial institution.


Experience within compliance controls and audits and working with regulatory entities.


Experience with compliance.


Proven experience in providing regulatory guidance and advice.


Ability to work independently, although close together with team members, and has strong communication skills.

Experience within law is a merit.

In addition, you are used to assume responsibility, are detailed oriented and self-driven. You enjoy a fast pace working environment. Furthermore, your English and Swedish language skills (both written and spoken) are fluent.
