We’re now looking for two experienced Compliance Officers to join our global Compliance team. As a Compliance Officer you will raise awareness of Sandvik’s Compliance Programs, you will work closely with the divisions to identify and mitigate compliance risk, and you will act as a trusted partner giving solid compliance advice. Both Compliance Officers report directly to the SMS Chief Compliance Officer. For one of the positions the location is Sandviken or Stockholm in Sweden, while the other is located at one of our SMS locations in Europe to be agreed on.
Your mission
In this position you work to promote and drive compliance with laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, supporting a culture of integrity and raising awareness of all compliance-related matters throughout the organization. You drive the global Compliance Programs, which include anti-bribery and anti-corruption, data privacy, trade and competition, within the areas of responsibility. You identify compliance risks, advise on compliance activities and set priorities for the activities in order to reduce compliance risks. Working independently and closely with the business, you seek to understand how the compliance program applies to the different operations and how to ease the risks you identify. You’re responsible for training and educating people in compliance topics.
Your character
We’re looking for people with solid experience of working in similar positions, holding a relevant degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field. Previous experience from international companies or organizations is advantageous, as well as from the diverse range of IT systems and tools applicable for this area. With an energetic, persistent and process-oriented approach, you look at our business from a broader perspective and you enjoy turning complex matters into understandable and effective solutions. As we’re a global organization, you must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, while knowledge in Swedish or other languages is beneficial.
